**Currently the football team is working out every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:30-5:30.  The point system is in place so make sure you attend.  Remember those with the most points have 1st choice at jersey number, equipment, locker selection, etc.

**Congratulations to everyone for their 4th Quarter report card.  It wasn't easy but you did it.  All that's left now is to get better with football on a daily basis.  There is no excuse for tardies, not shows, bad effort, etc.  The season is HERE, and we have to focus on getting better each day!!!

**Sign up for the SAT/ACT and remember to start getting your physicals and getting your paperwork filled out for the season.  All the paperwork can be found on the Info page on the website.

**Congradulations to Bladensburg HS for their performance at the previous NIKE COMBINE.  Since the Nike Combine started Bladensburg has never had the results it had this year.  We had 16 people in the top 400 out of 1600 people there (previous high was 5 people in top 400) and placed #8 out of more than 75 teams there!!!!  Congratulations to........

You have a chance to play the best sport ever created.  Respect the game, the players who play it, the coaches who coach it, the refs who manage it, and the parents who support it.  Know that it is a privilege to be part of this game and that nothing is given.  Be dedicated, work hard, and don’t be afraid of success.  Be men of character who exude professionalism and know that we will succeed.  We all face problems throughout our lives, but it is the lessons learned from structured activities such as football that prepares you for life.  You might not realize it now, but football will help facilitate success in every phase of your life.  Be there for it and it will be there for you!!!
