NEWS

The Bladensburg Football family welcomes three new additions to the staff.  Welcome Coach Lott, Coach Deane & Coach Williams! 

 

All students planning to play football should attend after school workouts

Weight room workouts are being held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30pm to approximately 6:00pm.

It is important that you come prepared with proper workout attire! 

School uniforms do not allow for the necessary flexibility to stretch and lift weights properly.  Everyone who plans to play football in 2010 should be lifting 4 days per week.

*Workouts may be canceled from time to time at the discretion of Coach Tyler.  Students will be made aware once those decisions are made.

Players who wish to join us at the FREE Nike combine need to register ASAP!

*We need help with rides to and from the Combine on Saturday, April 3rd.  Any parents, family, friends, or boosters who can help are encouraged to plan on being available.  

 

 

REMINDERS

It is never too soon to sign up for SAT and ACT testing.  ALL students are encouraged to begin making preparations for these tests ASAP!

You have a chance to play the best sport ever created.  Respect the game, the players who play it, the coaches who coach it, the refs who manage it, and the parents who support it.  Know that it is a privilege to be part of this game and that nothing is given.  Be dedicated, work hard, and don’t be afraid of success.  Be men of character who exude professionalism and know that we will succeed.  We all face problems throughout our lives, but it is the lessons learned from structured activities such as football that prepares you for life.  You might not realize it now, but football will help facilitate success in every phase of your life.  Be there for it and it will be there for you!!!
